The unique marriage of a premier wine region and beach lifestyle has created a melting pot for all things food and wine in McLaren Vale. With April heralding the Easter season there are several tasting experiences in the region where you can savour McLaren Vale wines paired with rich chocolate deliciousness.

Beresford Wines: Shiraz & Chocolate Tasting

Beresford Wines have created the ultimate Shiraz and Chocolate tasting experience at their cellar door. Enjoy a Shiraz from each tier of the Beresford range, matched to locally crafted chocolate for a truly indulgent experience.

Bracegirdles, McLaren Vale: Easter Chocolate Collection

Hippity, Hoppity... the hunt is on! Bracegirdle's Easter range has finally hit the shelves in their McLaren Vale store. The traditional Bracegirdle's favourites are available along with some brand new, fun creations as part of their 2022 Easter Collection. All of the Easter products are handmade and hand-decorated by our talented team of chocolatiers. (The McLaren Vale store is a fully fledged, licensed restaurant).

Woodstock Wine Estate: Sticky Fingers Tasting

Before table wine, Australian winemakers were dedicated to the production of world-class fortifieds, a tradition that the winemaking team at Woodstock Wine are continuing in 2022. “Sticky Fingers” is a new fortified wine tasting experience at Woodstock that marries four different fortified wines with matched Haigh’s Chocolates. The experience is all about helping people rediscover the enjoyment of fortified wine and to learn about the extensive winemaking and maturation process.

Chalk Hill Wines: Wine & Chocolate Tasting

Stop by the Chalk Hill cellar door for their 'Wine & Chocolate Pairing' tasting experience featuring local artisan chocolate and three wines from their range. Bookings for this experience will open in early April.

Wirra Wirra: Shiraz Revolution Tasting

Indulge in chocolate and wine as part of the Wirra Wirra Shiraz Revolution tasting experience. An in-depth shiraz experience, where you will learn about the history of Wirra Wirra, biodynamic practice, and the diverse geology of McLaren Vale. Then you can taste five of the brands best shiraz wines, including a rare museum wine, all matched with a tantalising selection of chocolates by our chef, Tom Boden.
