A Spritz Veneziano, also known as Aperol Spritz, is an Italian wine-based cocktail, commonly served as an aperitif in Northeast Italy.
Aperol Spritz is the perfect match to your 'aperitivo' experience of delicious snacks and appetisers. The aperitif ritual, born in Veneto, sees the Aperol Spritz served with some traditional snacks called ''cicchetti''. Annika of Pomodora Kitchen at the Vigna Bottin Osteria includes her very own "cicchetti" on the menu, freshly toasted bread with seasonal toppings, all house made. These cocktails will be available from our Cellar Door through summer.
Making an Aperol Spritz is as easy as this:
- Fill a large wine glass with ice
- Add 60ml Aperol, 90ml Vigna Bottin Versecco and 30ml Soda Water
- Garnish with a blood orange wedge
