Gemtree Eco Trail

A hidden gem tucked away in McLaren Flat is Gemtree's Eco Trail. A quaint trail through native plantings where you can listen out for the frogs, say hello to the resident emus and even be the first to spot a koala in Southern Koala Rescue's pre-release enclosure.

Bring your own food to make use of the BBQ and picnic facilities or pre-book a Gemtree Picnic Pack:

Eco Trail Kids Pack $10:
This pack is for the young adventurers out there. The activity book is all about exploring the Eco Trail and features a scavenger hunt map that asks kids to answer nature questions along the trail. The pack also includes: a special prize, a native plant identification guide, an organic juice, and a dried fruit snack from a local orchard.

Maxwell Wines Maze

Rug up and take on the challenge of Maxwell Wines' mind-bending maze . . . or sit back and relax on the lawn while you send the kids in!

Entry to the maze is free, order a cheeseboard from the cellar door or bring your own picnic and enjoy with your favourite Maxwell wine.

Woodstock Wildlife Sanctuary

The Woodstock Wildlife Sanctuary is home to Eden, Maple, Rawnsely, Prairie, Abraham and Dusty, all rescued Western Grey Kangaroos plus a friendly emu called Maverick. If you look up into the vast gum trees you may even spot a koala or two!

Woodstock offers a supervised wildlife feeding session each day at 11:30am.
