The winners of the 2026 Best Of Wine Tourism Awards have been revealed, showcasing the diversity and quality of experiences on offer in South Australia’s world-renowned wine regions.
Presented at the South Australian Wine Industry Dinner at Adelaide's National Wine Centre on Thursday 11 September 2025, the Awards celebrate innovation and excellence in wine tourism.
McLaren Vale businesses were recipients of two out of the seven Best of Wine Tourism Awards, recognising our region's commitment to innovation and excellence in wine tourism and showcasing why McLaren Vale remains a premier destination for wine lovers and experience seekers across the globe.
McLaren Vale winners of the 2026 Great Wine Capitals Best of Wine Tourism Awards were:
Culinary Experiences - Maxwell Wines, McLaren Vale

The award for Best Culinary Experiences went to Maxwell Wines.
Maxwell Wines continues to raise the bar for culinary experiences in South Australia, and was commended for making 3-hatted dining accessible in a cellar door setting through introducing a snack menu, inviting visitors to linger longer.
Wine Tourism Services - SA eBikes, McLaren Vale

The award for Wine Tourism Services went to SA eBikes, who was commended for delivering a practical and accessible service that McLaren Vale can be proud of and that connects and uplifts the whole region.
All winners of the South Australian awards will now compete for a Global Best Of Wine Tourism Award, which will be presented at the Great Wine Capitals Gala Dinner in Bordeaux, France, in November.
