Autumn! What a season in McLaren Vale

While it's hard to say goodbye to summer warmth and fun, there's a whole lot to love during Autumn in the region. With the change of season and the beginning of Autumn comes breathtaking days and golden, glorious light. Autumn also brings with it the joy of vintage, one of the most important times in the winemaking calendar.

The Autumn season is an amazing time to soak up the region’s breathtaking coastline or take in the natural beauty of one of the region’s walking trails. Walking, cycling or hiking through the beautiful scenery of McLaren Vale is a great way to experience the area, particularly during the cooler days of Autumn. Visitors are spoilt for choice with walking and cycling trails that take you through the stunning natural environment, including national parks and waterways, as well as scrubby native bushlands backing onto lush vineyards.

McLaren Vale also plays host to numerous events throughout Autumn that will be a feast for all your senses. Think Adelaide Festival, Adelaide Fringe, and Tasting Australia events as well as local culinary experiences. Autumn really is a wonderful time to soak up all that McLaren Vale has to offer.
