2022 Harry's Garden Launch (Wirra Wirra)
HARRY’S GARDEN
In January Wirra Wirra put the finishing touches on Harry’s Garden, a beautiful new outdoor dining area for Harry’s Deli. The completion of Harry’s Garden completes a significant project for Wirra Wirra’s popular café, which included the construction of a commercial kitchen, the expansion of the enclosed courtyard and a new paved area overlooking Wirra Wirra’s famous trebuchet, expansive lawns and surrounding gum trees.
Harry’s Garden includes seating for up to 80 people under the shade of umbrellas and access to lawns where visitors can enjoy playing games such as Finska, cornhole and giant connect four. The full Harry’s Deli menu of food and wine is available in Harry’s Garden which includes seasonal specials alongside the mainstays such as the Son of Trott Pie.
The latest project for Harry’s Deli follows on from a complete cellar door renovation in 2020 to permanently shift to seated tastings. Changes included the installation of booth seating and a transformation of the cellar door garden to an organic produce garden including herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables that are utilised in the Deli.
Wirra Wirra also offer a range of tours and private tastings at the historic site, giving visitors a chance to see the working cellars built in the late 1800’s.
