Job Vacancies

Job opportunities from our Association Members are posted here.

Never Never Distilling Co is looking to fill a number of front of house casual positions at our Distillery Door in beautiful McLaren Vale.

Our venue and brand home is open seven days a week, with most of our hours available during the day-time - no double shifts and no late nights apart from Friday evenings when we close at 10pm - but we do require our team to be available over weekends and public holidays.

Previous experience in a fast-paced standards-driven hospitality environment is a must, as is a can-do work ethic and a desire to provide exceptional customer service to everyone that steps foot into our distillery door.

Our front of house team are all-rounders, so we'd expect you to be already comfortable providing table service, making a deliciously presented gin & tonic behind the bar and happy to be a bar-back when required.

While being a complete gin nerd would obviously be a benefit, we provide full on-the-job training so don't feel like you already have to know everything about juniper to work with us.

Weekly shifts available would start with 2-3 days a week, with more hours becoming available later in the year as our venue expands.

If this sounds like you and you love the idea of working with a sweet view and awesome staff benefits, send a copy of your current CV and a small intro about yourself and why you'd like to join the Never Never Distilling Co family to distillery@neverneverdistilling.com.au

We are seeking for a new member to join our team full time. The right candidate will be highly motivated, reliable, enthusiastic and display a keen interest and willingness to learn. You will have the passion and commitment to do a good job and take pride in the quality of your work.

General tasks will include tractor and agricultural machine maintenance and repairs, operating tractors, slashing, trimming, harvesting, barrel pruning, fertilizing, irrigation, spraying, post repair/maintenance, fencing, hands on work and more.

You will be required to work both individually and as part of a small team within the McLaren Vale and Southern Adelaide Hills regions. This is a Monday to Friday position with additional hours required during vintage and busy periods.

Experience in a similar role is a must with preference given to those with grape harvesting and mechanical experience.

We are looking for a new team member with the following strengths:-

  • qualification or experience in diesel agricultural maintenance and repairs
  • hard working and highly reliable
  • uses initiative and can problem solve
  • able to follow instructions
  • communicates effectively to customers, management, team members, etc
  • high attention to detail
  • strong work ethic and have passion and pride in the quality of work completed
  • work well unsupervised and within a team
  • self-motivated with ability to manage time and achieve set objectives
  • enjoys coming to work on a daily basis
  • have access to reliable transport

A current driver’s licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles is essential, other relevant / accreditation and licences are an advantage. A salary package commensurate with the successful applicants’ skills and experience will be offered. If you have a professional and positive attitude, are hardworking, highly reliable and want to join our team, apply now.

Email for any additional information required. Please send your application with references to ledgard011@bigpond.com.

Want to know where amazing wines go to have fun? Mollydooker Wines of course!

Our amazing Cellar Door Team are looking for a couple of kindred spirits to help create positive, enjoyable and memorable customer experiences.

About You: You are passionate about people! You love connecting and building relationships, and are amazing at balancing attention to detail and a fun experience between multiple groups of customers. If you love wine, that will really help too.

About Us: At Mollydooker, we love to bring the cellar door experience to life, creating engaging and lasting relationships, ensuring the customer is at the centre of everything we do, and representing the Mollydooker brand positively. We are all also responsible for the safety and cleanliness of the Cellar Door, reporting concerns to the Cellar Door Co-Ordinator/supervisor. Also, it’s got to be fun, otherwise why are we here?!

The Deets: Hours would be around 2 x 5 hour shifts per week (plus), with more hours opening up after August. If you have flexibility to cover at short notice, we’d super appreciate that! We do need amazing humans to be available on weekends and public holidays, because that’s when people love to hang out. We’d also prefer some weekday flexibility if possible.

Next Steps: If this is for you, send your resume to alexbaker@mollydookerwines.com.au, as well as some words telling us why you and Mollydooker need to get together!
