Vigna Bottin Wines are seeking Direct Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator to join us with our New and Exciting Journey. Vigna Bottin are small batch family winemakers and 3rd generational grape growers who have Italian food and wine pumping through their veins.

The Bottin family have a rich grape growing history that began in the northern Italy in the town of Treviso before migrating and bringing their love of Italian varietals to McLaren Vale in 1970. Paolo and Maria Bottin first launched their brand, Vigna Bottin in 2006, after first making wines for the enjoyment of their family and friends. A decade later you will find their wines scattered all over the country. Skip forward to 2019 they are looking for someone to join their family team to open a cellar door and expand their sales further interstate.

Duties include:

  • General admin
  • Direct sales
  • Database management
  • Email direct marketing (edm's)
  • Event planning
  • Interstate client liaising

  • Full drivers licence
  • Current RSA
  • Police check
  • Microsoft office suite experience
  • Min 3 years Cellar door/direct sales experience
  • Marketing experience desirable

ABOUT

Ryecroft Wines, Established in 1888, has a number of open casual positions for vintage 2020 in cellar and laboratory roles. We are looking for hard working people who love working vintage, making a range of wines from super premium to commercial.

Positions will commence at the start of February for a period of 8 > 12 weeks, dependent upon vintage conditions, working up to 12 hr shifts 6 days per week.

The winery is located centrally in the beautiful McLaren Vale region renowned for world class Shiraz, Grenache & Cabernet Sauvignon with beautiful beaches and the city of Adelaide in close proximity to the winery.

Ryecroft is part of the Randall Wine Group and together with Tinlins & Seppeltsfield, focus on premium wines for the Australian and World markets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A strong work ethic and a willingness to get stuck in is required, you will have had previous winery experience during vintage. The ability to work in a safety focused environment as a team member in a diverse cellar crew made up of local and international team members is a must. It is essential you can follow instructions both verbally and written and, as the winery works 24 hrs / 7 days during the harvest period, have a good degree of physical fitness and a willingness to work shift work if required.

A forklift license is highly desirable and a dedicated training program for Ryecroft will be provided at the start of vintage.

PIRSA have an exciting opportunity in the Industry Partnerships Team in the Agriculture, Food and Wine Division of PIRSA.

The Senior Industry Partnerships Adviser is a critical role in the team. This team is responsible for:

  • Providing advice on current topical and strategic issues facing our key agricultural sectors.
  • Gathering and analysing industry intelligence to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Fostering and maintaining strategic partnerships with key industry bodies and organisations (including Primary Producers SA, the South Australian Wine Industry Association and Great Wine Capitals Global Network).
  • Managing formal funding agreements and major sponsorship contracts.
  • Delivering key industry and government programs (such as the SA Wine Industry Development Scheme, Food and Wine Ambassadors Program, Rural Ambassadors Program) and reform projects.
  • Planning and manage events which support both stakeholders and PIRSA’s programs and objectives.
  • Advancing women in the primary industries and regional development sectors.

We are seeking someone who has experience and understanding of the South Australian primary industries and agribusiness, including the wine industry, to fill this important role.
