Willunga Farmer’s Market

Willunga Farmer’s Market

Willunga Farmers Market is predominantly a fresh food market that operates every Saturday in the heart of the historic Willunga township. It is a place where farmers and specialty food producers from the Fleurieu Peninsula can sell farm-origin and associated value-added specialty foods directly to customers.’

Established in 2002, Willunga Farmers Market, South Australia’s first farmers market, is the regional hub for the community and visitors to gather and buy fresh, local and seasonal produce in the McLaren Vale region.

Held every Saturday in the Willunga Town Square, more than 80 farmers and artisan food producers from the region sell their fresh produce; rain, hail or shine.

There’s something very special about the Willunga Farmers Market. It’s there in the food. It’s there in the people. It’s in the air and in our hearts.

Every Saturday 8am – 12noon

As an essential service providing fresh food for the local community we are able to continue to operate during this time.  Many changes have been implemented to keep our community safe including expanding the market across 2 sites – Willunga Recreation Park (all fresh fruit & vegetables), Town Square (bread, eggs, meat, dairy, olive oil, condiments etc)

Shop and Go at Willunga Farmers Market – wash hands on entry to the Market, observe social distancing and direction from volunteers, “touch it, you buy it”

Please do not visit the market as a group – one shopper per family where possible.

The McLaren Vale Grape Wine & Tourism Association acknowledges the Kaurna people as the Traditional Owners of the Country where the McLaren Vale Region is situated today, and pays its respect to Elders past and present.
